Old gutters fail quietly. Water starts pooling where it shouldn't, the fascia behind the gutter starts rotting, and by the time you notice the damage, it's already spread. That's exactly the kind of problem a proper gutter replacement stops before it gets expensive.

Here's what we were working with - a home that needed the old system pulled and a fresh gutter setup installed from scratch. We tore out what was there and put in a new system built to move water efficiently off the roofline and away from the foundation. No shortcuts, no leftover hardware from the old setup.

The downspout placement on the corner of the home is a good example of how we think through these jobs. It's not just about hanging gutters - it's about routing water in a way that actually makes sense for the property. The downspout runs clean along the brick corner and directs flow straight down to the rock bed below, keeping runoff away from the siding and foundation.

Speaking of siding - this home has a clean lap siding exterior, and protecting it from water intrusion is a big part of why a properly installed gutter system matters. When gutters are undersized, clogged, or sagging, water spills behind them and runs directly down the wall. Over time, that means damaged siding, mold risk, and costly repairs. A solid gutter system is what keeps all of that from happening.

Every home gets rain eventually. Having a gutter system that's actually up to the job means you're not crossing your fingers every time clouds roll in. This homeowner won't have to.
